Mirza é Shirazi International Award for tobacco control


Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Hasan Shirazi was born in Shiraz on 1851 A.C. He began his studies in the age of 4 and he passed preliminaries in the age of 8. Then, when he was 29 years old, he left Shiraz to holy city of Najaf. In there, he entered in the classes of Sheikh Ansari. After Sheikh Ansari, he did many effective activities as Moslems' leader specially the Shi'as. He wrote many books and trained many conspicuous students for the Islamic society. At last this great scholar passed away in Samera City at the age of 82. His body was buried in Imam Ali (AS)'s holy shrine. His memorial ceremony took a long time. more...
