Duties of this group are as follows:
1- Supervising the conduction of applicable researches on clinical science with the aim of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of TB, lung diseases and the consequences and complications of the above mentioned diseases
2- Conducting research on the environmental, professional and occupational factors responsible for development of TB and lung diseases and other factors with the potential risk of causing diseases such as nutritional deprivation
3- Scheduling for conduction of research projects to anticipate the policies, rules and regulations of clinical treatment of TB and lung diseases
4- Supervising the conduction of researches on out patient therapeutic services for TB and lung disease patients, new techniques  and related rules and regulations
5- Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the clinical and medical services offered for treatment of TB and infectious diseases
6- Offering medical consultation
7- Performing joint research projects in the field of TB and lung diseases with the collaboration of domestic and foreign scientific groups and organizations
8- Enrolling stagers and interns and registering the related approvals
