Introducing Emergency ward of Masih Daneshvary Hospital:
Patients referring to emergency ward are initially visited and managed by one of the general practitioners along with one of internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, or cardiology residents who are taking their training courses and are in charge of the shift. Thereafter, according to age and type of disorder, patients are transferred and managed by related services. Also, cases with acute surgical problems are directly referred for surgical management by the head of department.
