Intensive care unit of Masih Daneshvari Hospital, with 12 active ICU beds, is available for patients who have undergone cardiothoracic and ENT surgeries, have had cardiac and pulmonary transplantations, have internal pulmonary diseases (pediatric and adult) or are candidates for organ donation.
This center is one of the most highly equipped intensive care units for taking care of patients who have undergone variable operation on the respiratory system and who need special care and monitoring for this purpose. Also this center is capable of taking care of patients with internal pulmonary diseases who need mechanical ventilation, gradual weaning, infection control, and respiratory system rehabilitation.
Masih Daneshvari Hospital is one of the well known centers in the Middle East region that is capable of performing heart and lung transplantation. One of the other major responsibilities of this center’s ICU is taking care of patients who have undergone these transplantations, which is meticulously performed by the highly experienced nursing staff of this unit.
