Introducing the anesthesiology department of Masih Daneshvari Hospital:
This department initiated its new activities since the year 1996.

The major activities of this department are as follows:
     1) Thoracic anesthesia (thorax, airways, mediastinum )
     2) Cardiac anesthesia
     3) Participating in different activities of transplant organ procurement (T.O.P) (confirming the diagnosis of brain death, care and transfer of the patients, anesthesia  for harvest cases)
     4) Anesthesia for lung transplantation ,anesthesia for cardiac transplantation
     5) ENT anesthesia
     6) Whole lung lavage (the only center in Iran and also in the region )
     7) ICU management of patients
     8) Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pains
     9) Pain clinic
     10) Anesthesia consultation clinic
     11) Hospital resuscitation group (code 20)
