Mrs. Kaykha
Library:
The library initiated its activity in 1993.It is located in a150 square meters area and contains a study hall and a personnel room. The library system is open shelves and is equipped with 4 computers, a copy machine, a TV and a video. Working hours is from 7:30 AM to 23:00 PM.
Personnel:
Mrs. Kaykha is the librarian. She has Master’s degree in library and medical information science and medical IT with a 28-year work experience. Her main educational and research activities are as follows:
1. Instructor in report writing, information technology, cataloging and classification and periodicals at Shaheed Beheshti University of medical sciences.
2. Articles:
- Knowledge of university deans regarding the objectives and status of their university libraries. Book Journal, 1994.
- Hospital libraries, Medline, Burkina Faso, Bolivia and Bahrain libraries. Library and information science encyclopedia of the national library, 1996.
- One of the Ifla selected articles. National library, 1996.
- An article regarding the libraries in Brundi, Paraguay . Library and information science encyclopedia of the national library, 1998.
- Evaluating the rate of international scientific journal use in the libraries of four educational and research centers. Journal of Medical Education. 2004.
3. Lecture in the seminar of library and medical information. Kerman University.1994
4. Conducting a research project for creating a data bank regarding the researches performed in the country in the field of tuberculosis and lung diseases from 1978 to 2001 which is accessible through the address www.nritld.ac.ir/lib
Mrs. Chamiani is the other personnel of the library who has a Bachelor’s degree in library and IT and is present in the library every working day. The followings are of her activities:
1. Co-investigator in research project for creating a data bank regarding the researches performed in the country in the field of tuberculosis and lung diseases from 1978 to 2001.
2. Publishing an article in the Journal of Medical Education 2004
