Office of Clinical Affairs
The major responsibilities of this office are:
Supervision:
1- Supervising the proper management of patents
Periodic evaluation of the function of hospital wards, assessment of the monthly statistics of hospital activities, issuing internal notices
2- Continuous precise supervision of the emergency ward and problem solving
Supervising the completion of the triage forms and presenting the monthly statistics to the deputy of medical treatments of Ministry of Health
3- Supervising the execution of the project of" Honoring patients"
4- To convey and follow up of the new statements and instructions
Providing the necessary needs for the enforcement of statements and instructions
5- Cooperation with the insurance companies
Assessing the debt of health care insurances for social security workers and armed forces
6- Receiving the function report of different sections
7- Annual evaluation of the function of general physicians and dentists working in this hospital
8- Direct evaluation of the cases with prolonged hospitalizations (except ICU and TB ward patients)
9- Inspecting different sections of the hospital
10- Self-evaluation of the hospital
11- Supervising the efficacy of the educational programs of the nursing service and their execution
12- Supervising the pharmacy and completion of the drug evaluation forms
Education:
1- Educating, supervising and supporting the execution of quality control management in the hospital
Holding educational courses for training personnel and supervising the enforcement of instructions
2- Educating the medical and nursing staff and assessing their function
3- Holding educational courses for the personnel with the aim of debt reduction
Execution:
1- Investigating the problems of hospital therapeutic sections and offering solutions
2- Contacting the treatment deputy of the university to discuss hospital-related issues
Presenting statistics, participation in meetings, corresponding the hospital problems
3- Periodic examination of the personnel and follow up of the personnel’s health problems, performing annual examinations as well as vaccination of the personnel
4- Attending the patients’ complaints
5- Attending the complaints of the hospital personnel
6- Follow up and offering solutions in regard to fixing the defects and problems revealed during the official visits to the hospital
Reporting the official visits made by the guidance headquarters to the therapeutic sections of the hospital, detecting and evaluating the pitfalls and removing them
7- Programming and holding sessions for medical affairs in the hospital for coordination and decision making
These sessions are held monthly and attended by the deputy administrator of the hospital and chief of the departments.
8- Programming and conducting health system researches (HSR)
9- Coordinating issues related to preparing disaster plans
10- Follow up the execution of unpredicted programs announced as emergency by other organizations
11- Providing the necessary needs for the enforcement of statements and instructions
12- Coordinating the transposition and employment of the medical staff
13-To hold meetings and supervise and follow up activities of the related committees and their statements
