Introducing the unit
This unit started its activity as an independent research unit in NRITLD, Masih Daneshvari Hospital in 2007 with the aim of eradicating complications and diseases caused by air pollution and occupational environments through performing related research projects and educational activities.
Strategy planning
Introduction
At present, different countries in the world compete in terms of economical and social developments. In this respect, health is the most important issue. Environmental pollution (especially air pollution) as well as the adverse effects of occupational environments are among the main factors endangering people’s health. Air pollution and occupational disease research center aims to collect data, create ideas and solutions and conduct researches in terms of the effects of air pollution and occupational environments on health.
Mission
This unit is determined to perform research activities to help in-charge organizations in strategy planning and national and regional programming and to provide them with adequate knowledge about air pollution, health and occupational diseases.
